Dental Practice Marketing: Do Free Standing Inserts Work? SAVE
Here is an interesting article on the use of free standing Inserts for your dental practice marketing. If you've never used a free standing insert, it is simply an ad that is placed into a newspaper as a separate sheet or page...hence "free standing". The article claims that these inserts work well and should be considered for practice marketing efforts but it doesn't offer any solid date, only opinions. Do you have any experience with free standing inserts? Can anyone tell us that they work better or worse than direct mail pieces? Click the title above to read the article and let me know your thoughts. -

What Not To Do With Your Orthodontic or Dental Blog SAVE
Lot's of clients ask me how they can automate or outsource their blogging activities. One of the ways you can do that is to pay someone to write you a ton of articles that you put in your blog on set it up to post them every 2-3 days. Click on the title of this post to see what not to do if this is going to be your strategy. The post you will find is what we call "keyword stuffed" and was clearly not written by someone with full command of the English language. That's not entirely bad if you plan to have someone edit the content before it goes live. If not, it shows that you are not really interested in your readers or what they think of the content on your blog which tells a very negative story about you and your practice.
Keep this in mind as consider your options for automating your orthodontic or dental blog.

You are going to love this post. I ran across a blog entry from an Invisalign patient today that you need to read. The post is entertaining in itself, but the information you can learn from this is invaluable.
